DIEGESIS

1 Introduction

Our company is committed to delivering long-term social value in alignment with the UK Government’s five core missions. Our work to date, and our continued investment in innovation, skills, and community-focused outcomes, demonstrate our ability to contribute meaningfully to these national priorities.

2 Supporting Employment and Skills Development

We actively invest in UK skills and employment. This includes:

  • Hiring and training graduates and career returners;
  • Delivering ongoing technical training in key areas such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, GIS, and full stack development;
  • Supporting staff in achieving accredited qualifications (e.g. AWS, PRINCE2);
  • Delivering apprenticeships and paid internships to develop early-career talent;
  • Ensuring all staff are paid above the National Living Wage and offered flexible working arrangements.

These initiatives not only enhance our own internal capabilities but enables us to deliver modern, cost-effective solutions to clients.

3 Promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are embedded in our hiring practices and workplace culture. We actively:

  • Maintain gender balance across technical and leadership roles;
  • Use the STEM Returners programme to bring professionals back into work;
  • Standardise recruitment to minimise bias (skills-based tasks, competency based interviews);
  • Provide flexibility and reasonable adjustments;
  • Support formal learning through apprenticeships and career-track qualifications (e.g. RITTech, CITP);
  • Offer paid internships for university students.

We are committed to reducing barriers to employment and supporting progression for groups historically underrepresented in the digital technology sectors.

4 Make Britain a Clean Energy Superpower

We operate with a low environmental footprint and are committed to our target of reaching carbon neutrality by 2030. This includes:

  • Installing energy-saving appliances and LED lighting;
  • Promoting sustainable travel through public transport and Cycle to Work schemes;
  • Offsetting carbon emissions through certified programmes;
  • Encouraging remote meetings to reduce business travel (targeting a 25% reduction in travel emissions).

Our work is primarily digital, we reduce carbon impact by helping organisations modernise and automate inefficient processes, which reduces infrastructure and power use. We also aim to increase local supplier spend by 30% over three years, aligning procurement with low-carbon goals.

5 Community Engagement and Public Benefit

We contribute directly to community resilience and safety through active partnerships. For example:

  • We support the charitable organisation Stop the Traffik with ongoing pro bono services – helping to enhance their machine learning models that detect human trafficking patterns contributing to global anti-slavery and anti-crime efforts;
  • We are also a partner with Cyber Champions, supporting local schools to deliver cyber safety training to children and young people;
  • We plan to expand our outreach with schools and local groups to support early engagement with technology careers.

6 Driving Economic Growth, Innovation and Strengthening Regional Resilience

We invest in UK skills and jobs by hiring and training graduates and professionals, supporting career progression through accredited qualifications. Our workforce receives ongoing training in emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and full stack development, ensuring we deliver innovative, efficient solutions to clients.

Through dedicated research and development (R&D), we continually innovate to modernise services, reduce costs, and enhance delivery. All services are delivered by UK-based, in-house teams, directly supporting regional economies and public sector capability.

We collaborate with major public bodies like the Office for National Statistics and Network Rail, helping to strengthen national resilience in digital infrastructure. Our commitment to security is reinforced by certifications including Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance, with an in-house system administration team ensuring secure delivery across all projects.
